Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role involves creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and personalized care. Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers.
- Provide attentive caregiving, including feeding, diapering, and comforting to meet individual needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones to inform individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with parents and team members to ensure consistent communication regarding each child's needs and progress.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering positive behavior management strategies.
- Incorporate early childhood development principles into daily activities to support learning through play.
- Ensure adherence to licensing regulations and company policies related to childcare practices.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; classroom management skills are essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to infant and toddler care.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes safety, learning, and emotional well-being.
