Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role involves creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and personalized care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, experience with children, and a passion for fostering young children's growth and learning.

Duties

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers.
  • Provide attentive caregiving, including feeding, diapering, and comforting to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones to inform individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with parents and team members to ensure consistent communication regarding each child's needs and progress.
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering positive behavior management strategies.
  • Incorporate early childhood development principles into daily activities to support learning through play.
  • Ensure adherence to licensing regulations and company policies related to childcare practices.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; classroom management skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to infant and toddler care.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively.
  • Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes safety, learning, and emotional well-being.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
