Job Summary:
A Cook at Montello Care Center prepares both hot and cold food items for patients, residents, visitors and staff, serves food and cleans equipment and work area. Assists with stocking supplies

$18.00 – $21.00 per hour dependent on experience and employee status

Key Responsibilities:
-
Prepare and serve palatable, nutritional meals for our residents who call Montello Care Center their home.
- Prepares both hot and cold food items for patients, residents, visitors, and staff.
- Serves food.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workspaces in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

The culinary team is a close team who rely on one another to ensure the highest quality, nutritional services are provided.

Qualifications:
Required:

Must work as a Team Member

Enjoy working with the senior population

Quantity food production experience
-
Must be English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:

Serve Safe Training

Large volume scratch cooking
