Oversee daily operations of the Pharmacy Department which includes, but is not limited to department leadership, coordination of intra-departmental workflows, scheduling, payroll, assisting with informatics topics, and addressing personnel issues. The Operations Manager will oversee the quality and safety in the receipt, preparation, packaging, and delivery of medications as well as supervise and coordinate the activities of the pharmacy technicians including delegating assignments as necessary in accordance with established policies and procedures to maintain department productivity.
Job Qualifications: Graduate of a College of Pharmacy. 3-5 years experience in modern hospital pharmacy, preferably on administrative and/or supervisory level. N.Y. State Pharmacist license.
