We have a fantastic opportunity for Per-Diem Exercise Physiologists to join our Cardiac Rehab team.
Position Summary:
Perform accurate assessments for patients with cardiovascular disease including exercise prescriptions, EKG telemetry interpretations, patient education and safe exercise floor supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' fitness and health.
- Design exercise programs to meet patient goals by increasing their cardiovascular fitness.
- Maintain daily quality control for all Cardiac Rehab equipment.
- Prepare medical necessity reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science/Physiology required. Master's Degree preferred.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required and ultimate complete of ACLS certification.
- ACSM Certification a plus.
- Prior experience in a similar role, new graduates will be considered.
- Excellent communication skills.
