Overview
The Nurse Manager provides daily support and guidance to the nursing staff and is essential in order to continue in the redesign and adhere to our patient centered requirements.Responsibilities
- Support a multi-specialty practice which includes internal medicine and specialty /subspecialty providers, including but not limited to Cardiology, Gastroenterology, OB/GYN and Urology.
- Oversee all clinical and administrative functions performed by the nursing staff to assure clinical and fiscal objectives are met.
- Ensure quality patient/family centered care are provided timely
- Patient/customer satisfaction issues are resolved timely
- Supervise, train and evaluate staff
- Acts as liaison between Montefiore Medical Group and Montefiore New Rochelle administrative and clinical departments.
- Development and implementation of policies and procedures according to evidence-based practice in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
Requirements
- Master’s degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid NYS Nursing License
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical environment, along with progressive leadership experience.
- BLS/Infection Control Certifications
