Associate Director, Revenue Cycle Performance Improvement
The Associate Director, Revenue Cycle Performance Improvement drives enterprise revenue optimization by leading high-impact performance improvement, analytics, and automation initiatives across the revenue cycle. This role leads a multidisciplinary team to prevent billing denials, accelerate cash flow, and deliver measurable financial results through process excellence and technology enablement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead revenue cycle transformation initiatives using Lean/PDCA methodologies to improve performance and sustain results
- Oversee hospital billing denials prevention and rapid execution of projects that maximize cash flow and revenue yield
- Deliver actionable analytics, dashboards, and insights to support executive decision-making
- Partner with Revenue Cycle, IT, and Digital Transformation teams to implement automation and system enhancements
- Establish standardized processes, policies, productivity metrics, and performance management practices
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, customer-focused team committed to continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Industrial/Systems Engineering
- 7 years of revenue cycle analytics and performance improvement experience
- Data model design, dashboard development and analytics experience
- 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience
- Strong project management, facilitation, and executive communication skills
- Epic Hospital Billing/Revenue Integrity, Lean, or PMP certification preferred
Location: Yonkers, NY
Work Schedule: MON-FRI, 8:30 AM-5 PM
Salary Range: $128,000.00 160,000.00
