What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Montclair Speech Therapy?
Montclair Speech Therapy (MST) is looking for a full time SLP. Strong CF candidates are being considered. MST offers ST, Feeding, OT, and ABA services to clients across the lifespan in a state of the art facility comprised of 3 floors of treatment suites, a sensory gym, play room, and snoezelen room. History of evaluating and treating pediatric feeding disorders is a plus. CFs will have a direct on-site supervisor in addition to Directors, Clinical Supervisor and seasoned colleagues to support their continued learning and clinical growth.
Speech language pathologist qualifications:
-Minimum of a master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited college or university
-New Jersey state speech language pathologist license
-Speech Language Pathologist essential responsibilities
-Administer appropriate diagnostic test and treatment for a wide variety of speech, language, feeding and swallowing disorders as necessary.
-Provide treatment in accordance with and maintain weekly, including scheduling of makeup appointments and diagnostic evaluation
-Document in electronic medical records for all clients on caseload including diagnostic evaluations, progress notes, discharges and any other reports as needed
-Document all clinical activities thoroughly, accurately in a timely manner as required by Montclair speech therapy
-Communicate with staff, parents and other Professionals in an effort to provide total therapeutic programs for our clients
-Participate in staff and program development as needed

-Keep abreast of current knowledge in the field
