Houseman — Inn at Montchanin Village & Spa

Help create an exceptional guest experience at one of the Brandywine Valley's most distinctive hotels.

The Inn at Montchanin Village & Spa is looking for a dependable, energetic Houseman to join our hospitality team. Set within a beautifully preserved historic village, our 28-room boutique inn offers a unique guest experience where personalized service, thoughtful details, and genuine hospitality make all the difference.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping guests, and is always willing to lend a hand. This is a hands-on, active position that combines guest assistance, evening turndown service, housekeeping support, and maintaining the beautiful appearance of our property.

What You'll Do

• Assist guests with luggage during arrivals, departures, and room changes

• Provide evening turndown service, preparing guest rooms for a comfortable and relaxing night

• Deliver towels, linens, pillows, amenities, and other requested items to guest rooms

• Support the housekeeping team with room preparation, supplies, and other daily needs

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public areas, entrances, and common spaces

• Assist with moving furniture, room setups, and other light operational tasks

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests

• Work closely with the front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure a seamless guest experience

• Help maintain the exceptional appearance and welcoming atmosphere of our historic property

• Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout a shift

• Willingness to take initiative and help wherever needed

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting luggage, moving supplies, and spending extended periods on your feet

• Previous hotel, housekeeping, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
