Residential Construction Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Residential Construction Manager to lead and participate in residential construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage multiple residential construction projects at one time, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes to drive project success and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of residential construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Manage project budgets, perform cost estimates, and control expenditures using construction estimating tools and cost management software.
• Oversee site operations, including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and adherence to construction drawings and specifications.
• Supervise and manage teams of subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all construction regulations, permits, and safety standards while maintaining rigorous quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to mitigate risks and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Monitor construction schedules closely to coordinate activities across multiple trades and resolve any delays or issues promptly.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality, safety standards adherence, and progress milestones are achieved.
• Master communicator skilled at connecting with the desires and concerns of all participants.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing residential construction projects with a background in managing complex infrastructure developments.
• Proficiency in construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies.
• Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and project scope effectively.
• Strong time management skills with an emphasis on meeting deadlines without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Hands on experience in many phases of residential construction preferred.
• Truck ownership and the ability to haul miscellaneous materials a plus.

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
