Instructional duties will primarily include teaching General Microbiology, Principles of Biology, Discover Biology, and other courses as needs dictate with the opportunity to develop new courses in your area of expertise. Online development and delivery of selected courses may be a component of the instructional load. Establishment and active management of a discipline-related research program involving undergraduates is expected. Evidence of high quality, innovative college teaching experience and potential for productive, externally-funded research in an undergraduate, liberal arts setting are required.
