POSITION SUMMARY

Tellers serve as a primary frontline representative of Montana Credit Union, delivering accurate, professional, and member-focused service through in-branch, drive-thru, and Personal Teller Machine (PTM) interactions. This position is responsible for processing routine financial transactions, maintaining cash balancing accuracy, and assisting members with day-to-day account needs while ensuring compliance, confidentiality, and operational excellence.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Working knowledge of cash handling and balancing procedures.
• Proficiency with core computer systems and comfort working with technology, including PTMs and digital banking tools.

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow policies and procedures accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify alternative solutions.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with members and coworkers.
• Ability to work effectively in a member-facing environment, including operating PTMs in a secure or enclosed setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cash handling and/or customer (member) service experience preferred.

SALARY

•  $16.00 – $17.00 Hourly DOE
