The Network Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of Montana Credit Union’s technology infrastructure. This position is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and improvement of the credit union’s local and wide area networks, servers, PCs, and peripheral devices. The Network Administrator provides direct technical support to staff, ensures strong cybersecurity practices, and recommends new technologies that enhance operations and member services.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience/Education)
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
•IT certifications (CompTIA Network , Security , Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) preferred.
•At least 3 years of experience in network administration, systems support, or IT infrastructure required.
•Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity practices.
•Proficiency in Windows Server environments, virtualization technologies, and Active Directory.
•Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, and enterprise applications.
•Experience in a financial institution or other regulated environment preferred, particularly with NCUA or audit compliance.
