LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport, NY 14450: Regional Programs & Services
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Month Position - Full Time
STARTING DATE: September 2026
SALARY RANGE: $48,500-$78,642 per school year (or higher depending on BUP negotiations)
DUTIES:
1. Provide IEP services, resource room and consultant teacher services in accordance with NYS mandates.
2. Plan and provide instruction for students with disabilities in accordance with NYS mandates and standards.
3. Develop, implement and evaluate Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet student needs.
4. Work cooperatively with other private/parochial staff utilizing a team approach.
5. Effectively communicate among home, school staff, district and community agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Certification in Special Education.
2. Certification in various content area(s) preferred.
3. Experience working with students who exhibit learning disabilities preferred.
4. Knowledge of the NYS Standards, Common Core and NYS Assessments.
5. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
