MMB is seeking an experienced transactional real estate attorney to focus on the acquisition, development, sale and leasing of restaurant, retail and manufacturing facilities, including the acquisition and sale of local and national multi-unit properties for sophisticated clients. The position requires collaboration with the firm’s real estate and mergers and acquisition’s team.
The firm uses a team approach to projects, working in a collegial environment to accomplish the client’s goals. The firm is dedicated to the professional development of its attorneys, both in legal skills and establishing a client base.
What We Need:
4 years of commercial real estate experience at a sophisticated law firm or in-house with a commercial real estate company
Experience should include negotiating and drafting a broad range of commercial real estate agreements, such as leases, purchase and sale agreements and conveyance documents; experience with title and survey review and the closing process
Exceptional oral and written communication skills to resolve disputes, clarify or answer questions
Experience in sophisticated leasing, financing, and Phase I review a plus
Creativity solves issues and problems using resources (internal/external)
Ensures documents presented for signature are thoroughly reviewed
