If so, Monroe County’s Clerk of Courts might have the job for you! We’re hiring a part-time (20 hrs./wk.) Administrative Assistant. Successful candidates will have graduated from high school and are preferred to have one year court-related experience. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired will also be considered.
Our Administrative Assistant serves as receptionist for the department by accepting and screening incoming telephone calls and public walk-ins. This position completes search requests, prepares vouchers for copies as well as quarterly copy billings, and receipts for criminal searches through mail and walk-ins. This position also assists the Clerk of Court in preparing records for transmittal to the court of appeals.
