- Event Support:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing department events such as workshops, guest lectures, and student engagement activities.
- Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and breakdown.
- Information Compilation and Organization:
- Organize information related to certification requirements, licensure processes, and other professional standards in education and human services.
- Social Media Content Development:
- Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for departmental social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Help monitor engagement and suggest strategies to increase visibility and interaction.
- Student Support
- Assist Education and Human Resources students with tasks such as class registration and making appointments with department faculty and staffMCC Expectations:

- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be currently enrolled as a student at Monroe Community College
- Must maintain satisfactory academic progress and be in good academic standing
- Federal Work Study eligibility is required for FWS-funded positions (must be approved by the Financial Aid Office prior to hire)Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience helping plan or run events (campus, school, or community)
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express)
- Experience creating flyers, social media graphics, or short videos
- Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently
