- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as toast, ensuring all special requests are noted. We offer guests QR coding ordering as well.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or quick service settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Toast POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest interactions professionally
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food industry tools such as OpenTable for reservations and guest management systems
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Familiarity with serving techniques, bussing, host/hostess experience preferred
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest relations and positive interactions
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not required
