SALARY RANGE: $48,500 - $78,642 per school year

- Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.
- Plan and provide high quality Art instruction for students exhibiting social, emotional, and learning needs in accordance with NYS mandates.
- Implement Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for secondary students.
- Work in a team environment that fosters the philosophy of collaborative planning and the interdisciplinary approach to learning.
- Effectively communicate with school staff, parents, districts, and community agencies.
- NYS Certification in Initial/Professional Visual Art or Permanent Art required.
- NYS Certification in Special Education preferred.
- Experience with students with significant behavioral/emotional disabilities and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention strategies or similar problem-solving strategies preferred.
- Experience with secondary curriculum development preferred.
- Physically able to perform essential functions of position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
