Notetaker - for Extended School Year Programs

This is for an Extended School Year (ESY) program and is considered a BOCES ESY position.

LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450; Various Locations

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: July 9, 2026 - August 19, 2026, Part Time. Pre and Post summer trainings and set-up as directed.

Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings

June 2nd = Transition/Employment

June 3rd = O'Connor Academy, eStart, Creekside (BPA Unit TES Staff)

June 10th = Creekside (BUP Unit), Bird/Morgan

SALARY RANGE: $17.00 per hour or your 2026-27 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff

Duties

• Record clear concise notes in academic courses.
• Participate in implementation of testing modifications.
• Maintain diplomatic working relationships with teachers, parents, students, and other support personnel.
• Record student responses as appropriate.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• Legible handwriting.
• Able to work independently.
• Ability to use required technology/software for notetaking needs.
• Desire to work with students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Must be available for all days of the assignment.
• Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
