Technician I, Logistics (2nd Shift Warehouse) (34968)

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Logistics Technician I is responsible for supporting warehouse and logistics operations through the safe receipt, storage, movement, inventory control, and shipment of materials and finished goods. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, and ensuring efficient product flow throughout the Monogram Foods Bristol facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, stage, and distribute raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory transactions accurately.
• Perform inventory movements and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trailers.
• Verify product quantities, lot codes, and inventory locations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Coordinate material replenishment to production areas to prevent downtime.
• Operate powered industrial equipment when properly trained and certified.
• Assist with freezer, cooler, and dry-storage warehouse operations.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns immediately.
• Maintain organized warehouse locations and ensure proper product rotation practices.
• Accurately complete required paperwork and electronic transactions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
• Assist with additional warehouse and logistics functions as assigned by leadership.

Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Ability to accurately complete inventory and warehouse documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

Competencies and Skills:

Physical Demands:

• Warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience.
• Experience with RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) experience.
• Food manufacturing or cold-storage experience.

The physical requirements listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Work on concrete floors for extended periods.
• Operate material handling equipment when certified.
• Work in freezer, cooler, and warehouse environments.
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Possess sufficient vision, depth perception, and hand-eye coordination to safely perform warehouse activities.
• Work extended hours, weekends, and overtime as business needs require.
