Inventory Control Specialist

The Inventory Control Specialist supports operations through daily overseeing of inventory from one location (Wet or Pack) to the other location. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Perform all work in a safe manner; remain constantly aware of continuous improvements(s) for safety-related opportunities.
• Verify all inventory transactions within your delegated department are accurate and completed in a timely manner by:
• Validating counts on materials going to and coming from the warehouse area
• Confirming the counts and transactions of items being produced on your respective lines.
• Report any major discrepancies in the inventory to your supervisor so that any issues may be taken care of quickly.
• Take an inventory of your respective area daily and match to the system. (Resolve errors where necessary).
• Review respective work orders at the end of shift to ensure accuracy of all items produced and materials used.
• Any other task or duties which may be assigned to you by your supervisor
• End of shift Scanner and Skidder meet to verify case quantity count.

Work Environment:

• Production areas have moderate to loud noise levels.
• Production areas are temperature controlled, which may include cold or hot environments.
• You may be required to work overtime, which may include Saturdays, or the possibility of working in another department as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work within temperature-controlled environments (Heat/Cold)
• Walk on slippery wet surfaces.
• Hand/eye coordination.
• Handling (holding, grasping).
• Seeing/depth perception.
• Walk/stand 100% of shift.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Occasionally required to reach at/or above shoulder level.
• Occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive motions and movements throughout the scheduled shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
