Provide the highest level of quality and service to our guests in an incredibly friendly atmosphere. Prepare and bake food items as assigned for menu production.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Prepare all bakery items and associated garnishes following HCR standardized recipes, including measuring and mixing of ingredients.
• Maintain, clean and sanitize work area throughout the entire shift by complying with all sanitation and health codes.
• Scale, portion, roll, knead, cut, and shape doughs for items such as breads, pizza dough, pasta, cream pies and specialty baked goods. Maintain consistent product quality by monitoring appearance, texture, and doneness, and make adjustments to baking equipment as needed.
• Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other bakery equipment safely and accurately, adjusting temperature and timing as necessary.
• Monitor and rotate raw materials to ensure freshness and food safety; report any quality issues to a supervisor.
• Follow allergen safety and cross-contact prevention procedures when preparing or handling allergen-sensitive items.
• Adjust ingredient quantities based on batch size to ensure accurate scaling for daily production needs.
• Decorate baked goods, such as cream pies, using a pastry bag.
• Handle and transport heavy ingredients, trays, and baking equipment safely.
• Package all baked goods in the appropriate trays or pans, and carry/lift them to the designated storage area.
• Clean all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.
• Clean, breakdown, and put away all station materials.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.
• Report for work on time and uphold expectations for attendance, uniform, and professional conduct. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Other Requirements:
2 years as a Baker or Pastry Chef strongly preferred. Must take and pass all required tests 90% or higher.
