We are hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair of facility equipment, machinery, and infrastructure. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently to meet production needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Complete and document maintenance work orders
- Monitor gauges, meters, and equipment performance
- Maintain and request parts through inventory systems
- Safely operate hand and power tools (must have basic personal tools)
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Maintain forklift certification
- Assist with maintenance needs across departments as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to cross-train and work overtime as needed
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders as needed
- Work in indoor and occasional outdoor conditions
- Exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift
Schedule
- Must be flexible to work all shifts, including weekends
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
