Compensation Range: 40-50/hr W2
Job Description / Responsibilities:
Hands-on electrical engineering support in a lab environment, primarily focused on PCB debugging and rework.
Perform benchtop testing using multimeters, oscilloscopes, electronic loads, thermal chambers, etc.
Rework complex printed circuit boards (PCBs), including trace repair, component relocation, and work on boards up to 16 layers with parts down to 0402 size.
Design basic test fixtures and, when applicable, simple wire harnesses or circuit boards.
Read and interpret electrical and electronics schematics accurately.
Collaborate on multidisciplinary hardware development projects, taking ownership of project outcomes and delivering exceptional results.
Organize and prioritize multiple incoming lab requests efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail.
Required Qualifications / Must-Haves:
3 years of experience in an electrical engineering lab or equivalent hands-on EE role.
Strong experience in PCB rework, cable/PCB assembly, and benchtop testing.
Proficiency reading/interpreting electrical schematics.
Ability to design basic test fixtures; optional experience with wire harnesses/circuit boards.
Demonstrated history of ownership and successful delivery of project results.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in a fast-paced lab environment.
Preferred:
Previous experience at a PCB manufacturing or assembly facility.
Experience in a multidisciplinary hardware development environment.
