Job Description:
This role owns end-to-end ecommerce content operations for the client, ensuring product data accuracy, compliance, and content performance across key retail partners.
Job Summary
•Run QA on all SKUs prior to retailer distribution, escalating data discrepancies to the appropriate internal teams for resolution.
•Manage regulatory and compliance content requirements, including substantiated claims, legal and safety language, battery and hazmat documentation, and retailer-specific supplier forms, in partnership with Legal and Quality.
•Create and maintain brand stores for key retail partners, collaborating with brand marketing, sales, and creative on messaging and design.
•Monitor and improve content quality across retailers using scorecards, content-health dashboards, and regular site scrubs.
•Optimize copy for retailer search, SEO, and AI-driven discovery through keyword research, backend search terms, structured attributes, and Q&A content.
•Serve as primary project manager for content readiness across product launches, working cross-functionally with brand, sales, and creative teams.
•Monitor ratings, reviews, and consumer Q&A for content-driven issues; analyze competitive trends and report on content performance metrics including traffic, conversion, search rank, and content health.
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
•1-3 years of retail, Client, wholesale, or DTC experience with direct ecommerce content or product data responsibility.
•Hands-on experience with retailer vendor portals, item setup systems, and PIM/DAM or product content management and syndication platforms.
•Demonstrated ownership of new item setup at scale, including personally taking SKUs from setup form to live PDP across multiple retailers.
•Advanced Excel skills with comfort working across large product data files, bulk upload templates, and flat files.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Strong familiarity with major retail partners such as Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Costco, Sam's Club, Home Depot, and Ulta, among others.
•Proven ability to work cross-functionally across levels of a complex matrix organization, managing multiple projects in parallel.
•Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally and creatively problem-solve when retailer requirements and internal timelines conflict, with exceptional attention to detail and clear communication.
