Make It Possible.As a Sr Production/Operations Manager you will support end-to-end logistics (physical flows from plants to customers), including all warehouse, transport and co-packing operations, in terms of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance. You will provide team leadership and direction for the logistics organization. In this role, you will implement logistics strategy and effectively execute operations to ensure optimum logistics solutions while supporting various routes-to-market, and balancing service and cost. You will work collaboratively with internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution.How you will contributeYou will:Be accountable for warehouse, transportation, international logistics (import/export) and co-packing operationsEnsure the implementation of the business plan by delivering a consistent service level, adapting the supply chain to the demanding and changing customer environment and ensuring sufficient operational capacity to deliver business needsBe accountable for delivering logistics operational cost budget, ensuring that best-in-class controls and governance are in placeFoster, initiate and lead continuous improvement programs that reduce cost and our carbon footprint and improve the service performance of the operationEnsure successful project implementationSelect, manage and develop long-term relationships with third-party service providersEnsure adherence to health and safety, quality, food defense and legal requirements and policiesEstablish a business continuity plan for logistics operations.Support best-practices sharing and adoptionWhat you will bringA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:Solid background in logistics with experience leading operations in an FMCG/CPG environmentTeam leadership experience, with proven ability to build effective teams and develop peopleDrive for results with proactive, dynamic and action orientated approach, identifying areas where business change is required and excellence in project managementStrong collaboration skills with strong business and financial acumen and the ability to forge senior level strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholdersStrategic thinking plus excellent presentation, communication, influencing and motivational skillsStrong negotiating skills with ability to negotiate in tough situations with both internal and external groupsAbout this roleResponsible for managing, coordinating and overseeing implementation of all materials management programs and processes across the Cluster, and ensuring there is enough integration to function as a cluster.Single point owner for the monthly integrated strategic material product supply processes (Intergrated Business Planning, IBP). Examples would be a focus on cycling strategies, flexible scheduling.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and Mondelēz policies and continuous improvement in key identified measures and objectives. Prepares and builds consensus annual plans for the cluster and each bakery product supply and materials initiatives.Ownership within the IL6S programs, initially for the Chicago Bakery, but working to integrate the teams into a single, focused team utilizing IL6s work processesPlan/Budget/Control annual capital budget for the functionto ensure flawless execution of theAC plan and adherence to all internal and external compliance standards.Drives strategic thinking and continuous improvement in the function at all bakeries, as well as in company programs/initiatives.Develops performance standards and creates capabilities in each bakery’s product supply and materials functional teams, following a PDCA approach to measure and ensure appropriate follow-ups/root cause analysis and actions to close gaps.Owns the processes to ensure assessments are conducted,evaluated and follow ups implemented to minimize or eliminate product supply or materials issues throughout the facilities.Review performance in Product Supply and Materaisl Managementand facilitate implementation corrective and preventative actions where requiredResponsible for trackingassociated KPIsEnsures training and coaching is taking place to ensure Product Supply and Materials Management process standards and awareness are well understood throughout the Cluster facilities. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time.
