HIRING - FULL-TIME APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Join our team in Omaha! This hands on job will deal with make-readies, work-orders, grounds, and shared on-call. The person for this role will split work between Pacific Winds and West Haven Apartments in Omaha.

SCHEDULE:
M-F 8-5PM (80hrs paid time off 1st year, paid holidays) will be between two sites
On-call 1x every 3 weeks at 2 properties
PAY:
$21-23.50 an hour (full-time)
BONUSES:
$750 quarterly bonuses (based on site performance)
$100 for every week you hold the on-call phone and minimum 1.5hrs paid time for emergency calls
That is $3,000 in annual bonuses!

What You'll Be Doing:
- Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
- Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
- Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
- Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
- Exterior structural maintenance as needed
- Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
- Snow removal (when applicable)
- Pool maintenance (where applicable)
- Work between Pacific Winds and West Haven Apartment Communities
- Housing inspection experience preferred (not required)
The Experience We Like To See:
- 2 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
- 6 months experience in apartment maintenance
- Dry walling including painting and carpentry
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
- Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
- Preferred experience in HVAC and/or boiler system knowledge
- Some knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas
- Problem solving skills
- Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
- Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days
