Maintenance Technician – Apartment Community

Location: Oceanside, CA
Are you a skilled and reliable maintenance professional looking for a rewarding opportunity in sunny San Diego? We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at a well-established, professionally managed apartment community.
Schedule: Full Time
Thursday- Monday (off Tuesday and Wednesday)
8am-4:30pm
Pay: $25-$27 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on residential units and common areas
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Conduct unit turns, including painting, repairs, and cleaning
- Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Respond promptly to work orders and on-call emergencies (rotating schedule)
Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in handy man, work, apartment or building maintenance preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- EPA or HVAC certification a plus but not required
