Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead operations at Union at Cooper Hill, a 281-unit community located in the Irondale area of Birmingham.

This is a high-priority, immediate hire—we’re looking for someone who can step in confidently, lead a team, and keep the property running at its best from day one.

• Up to $4,000 annually in quarterly bonuses

🕒 Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

On-call rotation: 1 week every 3 weeks

🔨 What You’ll Do: This is a working supervisor role—you’ll lead by example while staying hands-on:

• Oversee and complete work orders & apartment turns
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, and carpentry
• Lead and execute preventive maintenance programs
• Supervise, train, and support maintenance team members
• Maintain grounds and assist with seasonal needs
• Partner with Property Manager on projects, budgets, and capital improvements
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards
  
  

✅ What You Bring: We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running:

• 4 years of maintenance experience (apartment/multifamily) preferred
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience
• Vendor management and supply ordering experience preferred
• Strong skills across plumbing, electrical, drywall, framing, carpentry
• Welding experience is a plus
• HVAC & EPA certification required (Strong Preference if BARD AC Unit knowledgeable)
• CPO certification required
• Reliable, proactive, and ready to take ownership immediately
