Position Overview: (20-32 Hour Position)
The Wraparound Services Coordinator provides direct support to ORR-eligible individuals and families to promote successful integration into their communities. This position assists clients by assessing needs, providing information and referrals, conducting outreach, and connecting individuals to community resources and services.
Key responsibilities include helping clients understand important documents and communications, navigating housing, healthcare, education, employment, public transportation, grocery stores, and other essential community resources. The Coordinator works to identify and remove barriers to employment and self-sufficiency while supporting clients' overall adjustment and integration.
The position also engages in community outreach and partnership-building activities that support the organization's immigration legal services and increase access to resources for immigrant and refugee populations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct client intake and needs assessments to identify barriers to employment, economic self-sufficiency, and successful community integration.
- Provide information, referrals, and case coordination to connect clients with community resources and supportive services.
- Assist clients in understanding important documents, correspondence, forms, and service requirements.
- Support clients in navigating housing, healthcare, education, employment, public benefits, and other essential systems.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, employers, service providers, and stakeholders.
- Conduct outreach activities to increase awareness of available services among ORR-eligible populations and community partners.
- Support outreach and engagement efforts that strengthen and expand access to immigration legal services.
- Maintain accurate client records, service documentation, and case notes in accordance with program requirements.
- Monitor client progress and provide ongoing follow-up to ensure successful service connections and outcomes.
- Participate in community events, workshops, and presentations to promote program services and community integration.
Qualifications:
- Language fluency in Spanish, Kinyarwanda, Swahili or other common languages spoken by ORR populations, preferred
- One (1) year of experience in case management, social services, refugee resettlement, immigrant services, workforce development, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of community resources and social service systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and cultural competency skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse immigrant, refugee, and underserved populations.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and protect client confidentiality.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the service area as needed.
