Seasonal Décor and Event Assistant — Join the Creative Team at Monarch Garden & Floral!
Do you love creating beauty, working with your hands, and bringing spaces to life? Monarch Garden & Floral is looking for a Seasonal Décor and Event Assistant to join our talented team in Downtown Petoskey.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety — from helping install festive indoor and outdoor decorations to assisting with event setups and supporting our floral design team. Every day is different, and every project brings something beautiful to life!
What You’ll Do
- Assist with seasonal décor installations for homes, businesses, and community spaces — indoors and outdoors.
- Help with event setup and breakdown for weddings, celebrations, and local events.
- Support our design team by replicating and assembling floral designs with care and attention to detail.
- Organize, clean, and maintain décor materials, tools, and supplies.
- Assist with deliveries, installations, and general studio tasks as needed.
- Work both independently and as part of a creative, collaborative team.
What You Bring
- A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds — décor and event materials can be substantial!
- Comfort working both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and pride in producing beautiful work.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from the design team.
- Experience with floral design, décor installation, or event setup is a plus (but not required).
