Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, for order processing and payment handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with food handling standards.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices related to beverage preparation.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
