Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea drinks, including tea-based beverages, fruit smoothies, and specialty toppings, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, following food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of beverage quality.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Requirements
- Previous food service or café experience is preferred; barista experience is a plus!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and food prep.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
