What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Production Worker ( Donut Specialist) position at Te'amo Boba Bar?
We are looking for motivated team members to be part of a new food production team in Chicago! Seeking open-minded individuals who are willing to learn, get their hands dirty, and grow with us.
We specialize in artisan baos (chinese steamed buns) that are sweet and savory. You'll be learning how to make and produce high quantities of baos on a daily basis. Our potential new team will be trained by our Bao Chef!
Potential start date : December 18, 2023
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not needed- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues preferred but not needed
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move heavy objects throughout the shift
- Food Handler card
Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment and machinery in a food processing environment
-Produce and meet food production targets
- Perform basic math calculations for measuring ingredients and quantities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
- Package finished products according to company standards
