Under the direction of the Special Education Administrator, the Administrative Assistant to the Monadnock Regional Middle High School Special Education Administrator is responsible for assisting the school administrator in the planning, organization coordination, administration, and management of assigned Special Education activities and programs. Position assists in creating a safe environment and other duties associated with the successful operation of the special education department.

High School diploma or equivalent
- Computer proficiency including Google Suite
- Excellent writing and communication skills

Essential Functions:
- Works with the Special Education Administrator to establish a safe and secure environment for students and staff.
- Organizes, maintains and ensures proper payroll duties every two weeks for paraprofessionals.
- Works with the Special Education Administrator, and other leaders of the building, to create purchase orders and work orders as assigned.
- Prepares reimbursement requests according to established procedures.
- Updates attendance records and timesheets for assigned personnel.
- Communicates with personnel and various outside agencies to exchange information; request and provide necessary materials, and help coordinate outside opportunities for Special Education students.
- Establishes, maintains and assures proper use of confidential files including student, personnel and payroll records.
- Coordinates and organizes office activities and coordinates flow of communications and information for the Special Education Administrator.
- Updates and maintains multiple calendars as assigned; organizes appointments and meetings for building personnel, including case managers and the Special Education Administrator.
