Summary:
As a Cook at Mon Valley Healthcare, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals and snacks in our Kitchen and patient care areas. You will work closely with our dietary team to ensure that all meals are prepared to meet the nutritional needs of our patients and to promote a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in accordance with established recipes and menus
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
• Ensure that all food is prepared and served at the correct temperature and quality
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and catering services
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
• Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory, and quality
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (new graduates and entry-level candidates encouraged to apply!)
• Ability to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
