We are seeking a reliable and professional Transportation Driver to join our team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles including shuttles, buses, limousines, and delivery trucks.
- Transport passengers or cargo to designated locations efficiently and on schedule.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly.
- Load and unload heavy or bulky items as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules and address inquiries.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety for all onboard.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger needs courteously and professionally.
Experience
- Prior experience as a shuttle driver, delivery driver, bus driver, or in commercial driving is preferred.
- Experience with paratransit services or school bus driving is a plus.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance routines is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo safely.
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for commercial buses).
