Job Summary
As a Nurse Extern at Grafton City Hospital, you will develop your nursing skills through a partnership with an experienced Registered Nurse and gain hands-on experience performing direct patient care.
Job Requirements
a. Minimum Education Requirement : Must be enrolled in a nursing program and be on track to complete the senior year curriculum during the ensuing school year. The incumbent must be in good academic standing.
b. Minimum Experience Requirement : Experience with nursing fundamentals in a lab and/or clinical setting as evidenced by a completed nursing fundamentals skill check-off.
c. Minimum License Requirement : Current CPR card
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
Light Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to10 lbs with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs.
