Momentum Services, LLC is seeking a motivated Family Based Therapist who's looking for flexibility in their schedule and is passionate about helping others in a supportive, relaxed work environment. A family-oriented company who appreciates and respects not only their clientele, but their team, is looking for an experienced therapist to add to our team. This position provides individual, parenting, family, and other as needed therapy sessions and requires local travel.

Qualifications:
Therapists work with the family to stabilize the child(ren) by increasing the quality of relationships and functioning within the family system and community. The Family Based therapists work as a team to provide therapy to children/youth and their families. As a team, the therapists provide a comprehensive 30-day initial assessment, family therapy, child individual therapy, sibling therapy, parenting sessions/support, case management & assistance/advocacy within the community. These services are provided in the home, school, and community. Each Family Based therapist takes part in an on-call rotation to provides crisis support for all the families in our Family Based program as needed. Specialized training is provided & required. Family Based Therapists must be willing to work a flexible schedule and recognize that local travel is required.
A Family Based Therapist must have a minimum of a Master's degree in a human service field and two years of work experience with children and/ or families.
FBI, Child Abuse, and Criminal background checks are required as well as:
- Demonstrated clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills
- Must have the ability to provide excellent and compassionate service to families
- Time management and organizational skills
- Commitment to learn and attend regular trainings as assigned
- Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality and flexibility4
- Excellent communication skills with clientele and staff
- Independently motivated and able to work within a partnership
- Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions
- Passionate about serving the members of our community
- Local travel required for sessions
- Other duties as assigned
