Lead the Opening of a Luxury Senior Living CommunityMomentum Senior Living is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead The Whitford, a brand-new luxury senior living community opening in Dublin, California.
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing and innovative senior living organization and play a pivotal role in bringing a new community to life. The Executive Director will lead all aspects of operations, team development, resident satisfaction, occupancy growth, and financial performance while establishing a culture of excellence from day one.
About The WhitfordThe Whitford is a premier senior living community currently under development in Dublin, California. Designed to deliver an exceptional lifestyle experience, the community will offer luxury accommodations, elevated dining, engaging programming, personalized care, and hospitality-driven service in a modern setting.
Position SummaryThe Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership and operational success of the community, including full P&L responsibility, occupancy growth, resident and employee satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and development of a high-performing leadership team.
This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and serves as the face of the community to residents, families, employees, referral partners, and ownership.
Responsibilitiesβ’ Lead all aspects of community operations, financial performance, and resident experience
β’ Recruit, develop, and retain an exceptional leadership team and department heads
β’ Drive occupancy growth and census stabilization through operational excellence and partnership with sales and marketing
β’ Maintain budget accountability and achieve financial goals
β’ Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
β’ Foster a culture focused on hospitality, accountability, and employee engagement
β’ Promote exceptional resident and family satisfaction
β’ Represent the community within the local market and professional community
β’ Lead change management initiatives and support organizational growth
Qualificationsβ’ Bachelor's Degree required
β’ Minimum three years of senior living Executive Director, Administrator, or Operations leadership experience
β’ Proven success managing financial performance and occupancy goals
β’ Strong leadership, team development, and employee relations experience
β’ Knowledge of assisted living operations and regulatory compliance
β’ Experience leading through growth, change, and community start-up activities preferred
β’ Ability to obtain RCFE Administrator certification as required
