Momentum Foot and Ankle Clinic is looking for a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at our Michigan City and Chesterton clinics. This position will support the clinical team by assisting with patient intake, performing routine clinical tasks and ensuring a smooth patient flow. This is a key position to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and take detailed medical histories and vitals
- Assist the podiatrist during examinations and minor procedures
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms between patient visits
- Administer diagnostic tests, including X-rays
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
