This role combines clinical expertise, staff mentorship, and family collaboration to ensure meaningful outcomes.As a hybrid position, our BCBA will spend approximately 40% of their time providing direct in-person clinical oversight, observations, and family support, with the balance dedicated to treatment planning, supervision, and documentation.Starting Salary: $85,000*pay based on experience and certification levelWhy Momentum Behavior Services?   Paid Training: Whether you are brand new to the field or already experienced, you’ll find a place here where your work truly matters, and your growth is supported every step of the way.  Time Off: Generous paid time off allowance and paid company holidays  Insurance *: Flexible medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability, and additional benefits.Retirement: 401(k) retirement plan with company match  Family & Life Support *: Employee assistance program, paid parental leave, childcare credits and wellness stipendEducation: Tuition reimbursement, professional development assistance, and RBT certification support!Extra Earning Potential: Bonus opportunities and Perks At Work employee discount programUnmatched Culture & Support: Be part of a collaborative, diverse team where your voice and contributions are valued*Note benefits for full-time employment (30 hours or more) onlyApply today for the Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in Petaluma, CA to help deliver compassionate care in an inclusive, supportive environment.ResponsibilitiesClinical Service DeliveryConduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skills assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans.Oversee implementation of treatment programs in alignment with evidence-based practices and BACB ethical standards.Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis, making adjustments as clinically appropriate.Ensure documentation and treatment plans meet payer and regulatory requirements.Staff Supervision & DevelopmentProvide direct supervision, training, and mentorship to Behavior Technicians/RBTs to ensure treatment fidelity.Conduct regular in-person and remote observations of staff implementing behavior plans.Deliver competency-based feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.Client & Family CollaborationPartner with families and caregivers to ensure treatment plans reflect client and family priorities.Provide parent/caregiver training to promote skill generalization and enhance family engagement.Address concerns and guide families in navigating services with compassion and professionalism.Ethical & Compliance LeadershipUphold and model the BACB’s Professional and Ethical Compliance Code.Ensure treatment practices comply with HIPAA, state regulations, and organizational standards.Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.Professional Growth & CollaborationStay current with research and developments in ABA and related fields.Collaborate with other BCBAs, Regional Clinical Directors, and interdisciplinary partners to ensure clinical consistency and excellence.Participate in regional and organizational trainings, case reviews, and professional development initiatives.Required SkillsMaster’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.Licensed as a Behavior Analyst where required by state law.Minimum of 2 years providing ABA services, with experience supervising staff preferred.Clinical Excellence: Commitment to evidence-based, ethical treatment.Leadership: Ability to train, mentor, and inspire behavior technicians.Collaboration: Works effectively with families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.Integrity: Demonstrates professionalism and accountability in all aspects of care.Flexibility: Adapts to hybrid work demands while maintaining service quality.Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to travel within assigned region for in-person supervision (approx. 40% of the time).At Momentum Behavior Services, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members.
