I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible to the Senior Radiologic Technologist.
- Performs a variety of radiologic procedures.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
A. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Seeing. Hearing. Speaking. Finger dexterity.
B. MANUAL MATERIAL HANDLING:
- Infrequent: N/A
- Occasional: N/A
- Frequent: Lift floor to waist up to 50 lbs. Lift waist to shoulder up to 50 lbs. Lift waist to overhead up to 50 lbs.
- Constant: Carry between 51 lbs. Push and Pull between 51 lbs.
C. NON-MANUAL MATERIAL HANDLING:
- Infrequent: N/A
- Occasional: N/A
- Frequent: Stand. Walk. Stoop/Bend. Reach: shoulder level. Reach: above head. Gripping.
- Constant: N/A
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Both inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme heat and cold (temperature and duration), noise and/or vibration, hazardous physical conditions, and atmospheric conditions which affect the respiratory system or skin.
- Works on-call and rotating shifts as assigned, which may include holidays and weekends.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
- Current Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current BLS certification.
B. EXPERIENCE:
- One (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care facility preferred.
