Retail Associate/ Cupcake Ambassador - Customer Experience Focus

We’re hiring a friendly, outgoing, and self-motivated Cupcake Ambassador / Retail Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with people, brings positive energy to every shift, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

This position may work at both of our Cincinnati retail locations, including Factory52, our small but high-energy shop inside a busy food hall, and Liberty Center. Because some shifts may be worked independently, we’re looking for someone who is confident working alone, takes initiative, and knows how to deliver excellent customer service without needing constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to every guest
• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming, upbeat experience
• Educate guests on cupcake flavors, cakes, seasonal offerings, and other desserts
• Recommend products and help customers choose items they’ll love
• Operate the POS system/register accurately and efficiently
• Keep the bakery retail area, display case, and service station clean, organized, and stocked
• Complete opening and closing duties
• Work efficiently during busy rushes while maintaining a positive attitude
• Represent the Molly’s Cupcakes brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity
• Work both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Friendly, energetic, and professional personality
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure
• Self-starter who can work independently and stay productive
• Dependable and punctual
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Retail, food service, bakery, café, or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
