We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry preparation especially with viennoiserie doughs. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating a variety of delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.
  • Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal.
  • Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a pastry chef in a professional kitchen setting.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, decoration skills, and viennoiserie skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Passion for culinary arts and a desire to create high-quality baked goods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
