Moldtronics Inc. is seeking a meticulous, detail-focused Inspector to join our team in Downers Grove, IL. This role is a great fit for someone with steady hands, who enjoys working with small parts, and who takes pride in precise work.
In this position, you’ll work with very small plastic parts. You’ll use a microscope and small hand tools to carefully clean and inspect each piece to make sure it meets our quality standards.
This is aproduction rate role, meaning you will be expected to maintain a steady work pace and meet daily output goals while keeping a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect small plastic parts using a microscope
- Carefully remove extra material using small hand tools (like X-Acto knives)
- Check each part for defects or imperfections
- Stay consistent and accurate while working at a steady pace
- Report any issues or defects you find
- Package finished parts according to instructions
- Complete simple production paperwork
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination and steady hands
- Comfortable working with very small parts
- Able to stay focused on repetitive tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
- Willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude
- Experience in inspection or detailed work is helpful, but not required
- Consistently produce high-quality work with minimal errors
- Carefully clean parts without damaging them
- Meet daily production/output goals
- Follow all safety and quality guidelines
- Mostly seated position
- Work involves long periods of focused, detailed tasks
- Regular use of microscopes and small tools
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must successfully complete a background check
