About the Role
The Maintenance Technician at Molding Dynamics is responsible for the proper upkeep and maintenance of all machines in the shop, including safety, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, inspections, and preventative measures. Technicians work as a team to identify and prioritize machines needing service, and complete repairs in a safe and timely manner to restore them to working order as efficiently as possible.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely troubleshoot, upgrade, install, and repair all mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on injection molding machines, auxiliary, and ancillary machines as needed
- Perform maintenance and repairs of plumbing, mechanical and/or electrical equipment
- Inspect and test machinery, equipment, and molds to detect causes of malfunctions
- Dismantle machinery and equipment to gain access and perform diagnoses and repairs
- Remove and replace worn or defective parts
- Repair hoses, wiring, valves, etc., reassemble and verify proper function
- Read, draw, and or update blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals as needed
- Perform all preventative maintenance of molding and auxiliary equipment
- May need to fabricate parts when necessary to maintain or improve the function of equipment
- Evaluate and suggest ways to eliminate recurring problems
Job Requirements
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems on injection molding machines
- High attention to detail and organized approach to work
- Be a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a collaborate team environment and communicate instructions in a clear and pleasant manner
- Be able to successfully complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Previous experience with plastic injection molding equipment preferred, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
