What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Mold Remediation Technician position at Mold Solutions?
Mold Solutions Tampa Bay is growing, and we're looking to add motivated Lead Technicians to our team!
Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a certified Mold Remediation Technician to join our growing team! Experience in water mitigation is a plus. Additional training will be provided as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mold remediation and ensure proper decontamination.
- Conduct water damage restoration, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
- Safely remove and dispose of potentially hazardous materials.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for various restoration tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and work vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with clients about the remediation process.
- Document work performed and report any additional issues.
- Drive to multiple job sites - a clean driving record is required.*Company vehicle will be provided during work hours*
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company.
- Be available for on-call work as needed.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in mold remediation (required).
- 1 years of experience in water damage restoration (preferred).
- Mold remediation and/or water damage certification (preferred).
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Customer service skills are a huge plus!
- Valid driver’s license is required.

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Be available for on-call work as needed.
- 8-hour shifts with overtime available during peak seasons
- Daily morning meetings in Clearwater
