Job Overview
HomeCleanse Services is seeking a motivated Mold Remediation Technician to join our Field Operations Team and travel across the U.S. This labor-intensive position involves supporting residential and commercial mold remediation projects using our proprietary botanical-based process. Enjoy paid travel, lodging in Airbnbs, a daily food stipend, and transportation to and from job sites. Project durations vary from 2 weeks to 6 months, offering the opportunity to explore the country while earning income and gaining hands-on experience in a growing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to project sites nationwide (~95%) on short- and longer-term assignments (company arranges flights, lodging, and ground transport).
- Follow direction from Team Leads and adhere to strict SOPs and checklists with zero shortcuts.
- Work with your team to clean and restore residential and commercial buildings affected by mold or contamination.
- Set up containment areas to prevent cross-contamination and use specialized equipment like air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA vacuums.
- Safely remove contaminated materials and clean affected areas using the company’s botanical-based products.
- Take photos, record notes, and update job details using mobile apps.
- Keep tools, equipment, and job sites clean, organized, and in good condition.
- Follow instructions carefully and maintain high safety and quality standards.
- Communicate clearly with team leads and office staff while representing the company professionally.
- Care for PPE, tools, and equipment with regular checks and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Able to lift 50-75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas.
- Willingness to travel nationwide (~95%), with early starts and occasional weekends.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass background check and drug screen.
- Team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and professional demeanor.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- 1-3 years in construction trades (demolition, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, restoration).
- Certifications: IICRC AMRT, OSHA-10/30, First Aid/CPR (company supports training & advancement).
