Experienced Journeyman Mold Maker – Join our Tool Room Team
1st Shift - Mol-Son, Mattawan, Michigan
We’re looking for an experienced Journeyman Mold Maker to join our Tool Room team. In this hands-on-role, you’ll build, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain precision injection molds that keep our manufacturing operation running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards.

What you will do:
- · Build, troubleshoot, and maintain precision injection molds.
- · Perform preventative maintenance to maximize tooling and minimize downtime.
- · Diagnose tooling issues and recommend or implement repair solutions.
- · Read blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings to build and modify tooling to exact specifications.
- · Program and run CNC mills.
- · Operate manual machining equipment and precision measuring instruments.
- · Train and mentor mold making apprentices.
- · Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to read blue prints, CAD models, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of injection molding process and tooling requirements.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with problem solving ability.
- Toolroom equipment experience and understanding of machining processes.
- Skilled in the use of handheld measurement tools.
- A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality work.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Well-organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently.
Education and Experience Requirements
- · Highschool diploma or equivalent
- · Journeyman Toolmaker or Tool and Diemaker
